The American Small Business Coalition (The ASBC) is a membership-based advocacy organization supporting small businesses operating in the public and private sectors. We focus on companies providing products and/or services in support of the U.S. Government, its agencies and prime contractors. Members of The ASBC benefit through our education, mentoring, strategic networking and co-marketing activities. By leveraging the collective experience of our Coalition, we assist small businesses with identifying, pursuing and capturing business opportunities and key relationships. Our unique approach to providing access to business relationships and opportunities is both fair and effective for small businesses. Our model facilitates business development, strategic networking, education and collaboration for our Members so they have a reliable resource to aide them in the running of their business.
SCORE is a resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration. A national non-profit association, SCORE has over 10,500 volunteer members in 389 chapters across the United States. The Washington, D.C. Chapter has around fifty members experienced in owning and operating both small and large businesses in many fields. Counselors are located in D.C., Maryland and Northern Virginia. We are a group of working and retired executives and business owners, who donate our time and expertise to counsel men and women who plan start-ups or who manage existing small businesses.
