more about federal contracting:
Federal Business

federal government procurement opportunities over $25,000. Government

Federal
Procurement Data Service

data about U.S. Government Executive Branch procurement contract

Executive Branch spends approximately $200 billion to buy goods
and services. The FPDS summarizes who bought what, from whom,
and where. The FPDS does not contain information about current
procurement opportunities.
Office
of Management and Budget
OMB's predominant mission is to assist the President in overseeing
the preparation of the federal budget and to supervise its administration
in Executive Branch agencies. In addition, OMB oversees and coordinates

Central Contractor
Registration
The Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is the primary vendor
database for the Department of Defense (DoD), NASA, Department
of Transportation (DoT), and Department of Treasury. The CCR collects,
validates, stores and disseminates data in support of agency missions.
Both current and potential government vendors are required to
register in CCR in order to do be awarded contracts by the DoD,
NASA, DoT and the Treasury. Vendors are required to complete a
one-time registration to provide basic information relevant to
procurement and financial transactions. Vendors must update or
renew their registration annually to maintain an active status.
CCR validates the vendor's information and electronically shares
the secure and encrypted data with the federal agencies' finance
offices to facilitate paperless payments through electronic funds
transfer (EFT). Additionally, CCR shares the data with several
government procurement and electronic business systems.
FedWorld

FedWorld was established by The National Technical Information

assists agencies and the public in electronically locating Federal
Government information, from both within the NTIS repository and
outside of NTIS.
U.S.
Government Printing Office
The U.S. Government Printing Office disseminates official information
from all three branches of the Federal Government. In addition,
