Courtney Fairchild Named Recipient of Barbara Kasoff Founder’s Award

Washington, D.C. (October 14, 2016) – Global Services is pleased to announce that President and CEO Courtney Fairchild has been awarded Women Impacting Public Policy’s (WIPP) Barbara Kasoff Founder’s Award.

The award recognizes business owners, community leaders, and public officials with a strong track record of economic success and advocacy work, educating and empowering businesswomen to harness economic opportunities. Fairchild received the award at WIPP’S Annual Leadership Meeting and Award Ceremony, where policy experts, media members, and local entrepreneurs gathered to recognize exemplary women paving the way for economic equality.

The award is named in honor of Barbara Kasoff, WIPP’s President Emeritus and Co-Founder, whose history of business leadership and advocacy for woman-owned businesses is reflected by the award.

“It is a great honor to receive this award,” said Courtney Fairchild. “Barbara’s advocacy and impact on the economic state of women-owned businesses is unrelenting and serves as further motivation for me to play my part.” Fairchild, who sits on the Board of Directors at WIPP, is the first recipient of the award.
